Welcome to Serene Spaw, the most zen grooming experience for your dog. This is a private, one-on-one spaw, where calmness promotes a positive, relaxing groom.

My name is Kirsty and I have been in the grooming world for over 10 years. and working with animals since 2006. I wanted to create a different type of grooming salon, where the experience mimics a traditional human spa experience. Your dog deserves to be pampered too!

I use natural, biodegradable products, and I implement enrichment techniques to help your dog have a great experience.

I operate by appointment only and book up quickly. Pre-book your appointment to avoid disappointment!

Serene Spaw is located at 900 Guelph St, Unit 213 in Kitchener, Ontario. It is conveniently located close to the expressway.

The building was built in 1938 and is two-stories, with red bricks. Free parking is on site.

Serene Spaw is located on the second level. Enter the front door on Guelph St and head up the stairs. When you reach the top, go through the door on your right, and walk down the hallway, until you reach another hallway on your right. Turn right down that hallway, and Serene Spaw is straight ahead, at the end. There is unit number signage throughout the building offering direction.

To my clients with limited mobility or who have small children in the car, you can pull your vehicle up to the front door and I can pick up or return your dog for you.

Serene Spaw is located within an office building, therefore we must be mindful of noise so as to not disturb the neighboring businesses. For that reason, I am unable to groom dogs that are overly vocal during grooming. If your dog is overly vocal, I will refer you to another grooming salon, or I can suggest a great dog trainer for you to work on this issue with.

I am unable to provide de-skunking treatments on dogs, as the odor can spread throughout the building. However, I have de-skunking treatments available for you to purchase to use at home. I recommend always keeping a bottle on hand, just in case!! PRO TIP: Do not wet your dog after they have been sprayed by a skunk! The water will open the pores causing the skunk oil to seep inside and the smell will stick around for months. Always apply de-skunking treatments to a dry coat!

Email is my preferred method of communication. To maintain the safety of the dogs, I do not answer the phone while grooming.
